I discovered Caboclo 16 years ago in Barcelona and I purchased a sandal there. I kept these sandals during 15 years in perfect state. I never went to the repair shop. I wore them as my main shoes during 2 to 4 months each year. And I had to get rid of them last summer because they were eventually torn out.

As for these new shoes, after a couple of week wearing them indoor and with socks, they fit perfectly, I can now wear them at work and for entire days. They already are my new summer shoes for the next decade :)

I bought this boots because I wanted a higher version to wear with dresses and skirts, and they look so good!! Love that they are sustainably manufactured, and the great handmade quality! They look great and I'm sure they will be my favourite boots!

I was quite sure about the wonderful craftsmanship, but when my pair arrived, I was absolutely amazed with the quality. I love that the soles are recycled tires, making each pair unique, and although I thought they might be slightly stiff, they are actually very comfortable from Day 1. Definitely a Caboclo fan!

They are very comfortable and pretty! I've already gotten so many compliments on them. They look exactly as depicted. The leather and leather laces is stiff at first but you have to wear them a few times (kinda like with most shoes) to make them more comfortable. they fit really well with my midi length linen dresses,

The Mimoca model is my second pair of sandals from Caboclo. I've been wearing my first pair for over 10 years now, and they're my favorite shoes in the summer. Caboclo sandals break in after 2-3 wears and fit my feet perfectly. I don't have any other summer shoes that compare. Caboclo: unique design and durable.

Usually I'm not an online shopper, but a good friend of mine bought this model and I loved how it looks on her.

I was surprised with the recycled tires soles and how the leather gets super comfortable after a few uses.
They even send me an e-mail with a video to be sure about my size to avoid unnecessary exchanges and for me, a company that is worried about these sustainable issues is really important, as I don't buy products from big companies or companies that are not friendly with the environment.

The delivery was fast once I confirmed my size, and I also purchased colorful laces that look great with the shoes. I could not be more happy about my decision of buying from this company.

In 2016, I made a purchase in my trip to Barcelona that would become truly memorable, my first pair of shoes from Caboclo Brasil. From the moment I put them on, I knew I had found something special, the leather was a bit hard but after a few uses it got really soft and totally adapted to my foot, today i can say it was one of the most comfortable leather shoes I ever have. After 8 years, even though I still like the old ones, I decided to purchase online the same model but in a different color and for my happiness, now they also sell colorful laces that add a touch of joy and fun to my outfit.

I'm fond of shoes and find it difficult to unearth great models. I truly fell in love for the black JUBA ! These shoes are nearly perfect. The leather is nice, even if it isn't not totally flawless. In fact it doesn't matter because the whole shoe has something special, singular and really beautiful. Have a look at the details and you'll understand what I mean. The sole is made of recycled tire and allows a very soft and elegant gait. Finding your size won't be a problem if you measure your feet as mentioned on the website. Wonderful experience when worn with my long skirts or dresses.

I love these shoes. Took a few wears to wear in but now they are so soft and moulded to my foot. I’ve already had two people ask me if they’re were made for me. Love that! I love these shoes. Very comfy, look great and to be honest I feel really proud to be wearing them and not just another pair of shoes out of a factory. I really do recommend for anyone who likes a wide toe shoe but cares about style too. They really do look and feel great.

Lovely shoes. I bought two pairs, one Gaudi and then these Bahia. I reviewed the Gaudi and same comment applies; these are so lovely and the right mix of handmade and casual, and girly and formal at the same time. Flat all the way inside; no arch support. On a small minus, albeit some people write in the reviews that they will accommodate a (moderate) bunion or maybe will work for wide feet, in my case this wasn't so. The vamp is somewhat high and the shoes do not have a wide toe box which made them quite painful in the beginning; the leather is stiff and they really compress the toes. If I was to buy them again I would choose one size bigger, even if the instruction video received when placing the order was very clear. The shoes fit in lenght but really pinch on width so if you have wide feet maybe it would be a good idea to go up one size. The model Gaudi which is more pointy but cut lower in the vamp and longer was comfortable out of the box but for the Bahia I had to show the shoes "who is the boss" somewhat with stretcher spray, thick woolen socks and leather grease in the inside in the worst pressure points and now we are almost there.

So all in all: beautiful and seriously cool shoes, very flat and comfortable for walking, made in stiff leather and will be very durable, you can tell, with all these nails holding the sole :). But for wide feet I recommend sizing up one side.

Very nice, right mix of casual/handmade and formal. Beautiful. They are, as all Caboclo shoes, very stiff in the beginning. I read that some models are good for bunions (kind of) and this has the vamp cut quite low so they accommodate very well wide feet and/or moderate bunions because they flex in the right place, at the cut of the vamp, even though they are quite pointy. I warmly recommend them; they really elevate any outfit either with trousers or skirts. They work best with clear socks or tights so the shape and cuttings are visible and because they are very flat they are very comfortable to walk in. Note: no arch support. They are flat in the inside all the way as well except for the very low heel in the outside. But they are so very beautiful. Then there is the seriously cool factor of crossing the legs and exposing a sole made with a Pirelli tyre with the tyre marking clearly visible and full of small nails all around.... Love these.

For fit, as noted by others once you place the order you receive a video with very clear instructions on how to measure your fit. This model, Gaudi, fits true to size. Shipping to Northern Europe took about one week.

They feel very durable and solid and likely very easy to repair and personalize and they also feel downright compostable or something when they are done. Or maybe something that will survive in a bog or in ice for the archeologists to find in 500 years and be puzzled about.

I had purchased a black version of this shoe a couple years ago and loved it so much I decided to reorder a second pair of black ones and the brown ones. Since I had already determined the size from the first order I order the same size . When the shoes came the soles had exposed nail heads where the previous ones did not. Also, the size seems a bit larger.... the original 40 fits perfect.. I have to say I was slightly disappointed because I just absolutely love these shoes and I feel that the size and the exposed nail heads have not remained consistent since the first time I ordered them. I have worn the first ones all over Europe and they hold up great. I'm now worried that the exposed nail heads will eventually scratch floors since they are exposed. And I'm having to put an insert in to compensate for the size difference. I will make due with these shoes as I think they are a great shoe and they hold up well from my previous experience.
